“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life” (Revelation 22:17).
The Spirit echoes the voice of the Saviour: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
The Church is the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:22-33). Like the Spirit, we are to be an echo of the voice of our Saviour.
We are to say, “Come!” This is for you. This is for me. This is for all who will come to the Saviour.
His invitation is extended to all. His welcome will be given to all who come to Him. He says to each and every one of us: “whoever comes to Me I will never drive away” (John 6:37).
