Walking with God - on into His eternal glory

"Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away" (Genesis 5:24).
Enoch walked with God. On and on, he walked  ... on and on, into eternity. "God took him away" - this is so different from the recurring phrase, "he died" (5,8,11,14,17,20,27,31). Is there a hint, here, of the glorious future God has planned for us - eternal life? In these words about Enoch, we catch a glimpse of God's purpose for our life. He's teaching us to walk with Him - and He's preparing us for His eternal glory.
