In
Proverbs 30:5, we learn about Your Word. Your Word is ‘true’. Your Word
is ‘pure’. Your Word is full of blessing for those who ‘put their trust
in You’. When, Lord, we trust in You, we learn that ‘Your Word is
truth’. Your Word is full of blessing for those who ‘live according to
Your Word’. When, Lord, we live in obedience to Your Word, we find that
Your Word makes us ‘pure’. Through Your Word of truth, You lead us in
the pathway of holiness. Help us never to forget that Jesus is praying
for us: ‘Make them pure and holy through teaching them Your Words of
truth’. Lord, Your Word is ‘more precious than gold’. Help us to ‘hide
Your Word in our hearts that we might not sin against You’ (John 17:17;
Psalms 19:10; 119:9,11).
