“The Lord is my Shepherd” (Psalm 23:1). He is “my Saviour”(Psalm 25:5).
He is also “the King of glory” (Psalm 24:8-10). He has promised to “lead
us in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His Name” (Psalm
23:3). This promise is fulfilled, as we open our hearts to Him - “Be
lifted, you ancient doors, so that the King of glory may come in” (Psalm
24:9), when we pray for His leading in our lives: “Make Your ways known
to me, O Lord, and teach me Your paths.Lead me in Your truth, and teach
me because You are God, my Saviour” (Psalm 25:5). The Lord fulfils His
promise to us: “The Lord advises those who fear Him. He reveals to them
the intent of His promise” (Psalm 25:14).
