Esther 7:1-8:17
We
read about "a foe and enemy! The wicked Haman!" (Esther 7:6). There's a
more powerful enemy than Haman - Satan! "Haman was hanged on the
gallows he had prepared for Mordecai" (Esther 7:10). Satan tried to get
rid of Jesus - but Jesus turned the tables on him. We thank You, Lord,
for the defeat of Satan - and the victory of Jesus, our Saviour and
Lord.
