When
our devotion to the Lord is being deepened, we learn to walk with Him
on the way of the cross – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no
longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”
(Galatians 2:20) When our devotion to the Lord is being deepened, we
will be less concerned with being more popular and more concerned with
pleasing the Lord – “approved to God” (2 Timothy 2:15).
