A Special Man - With A Special Mission

Matthew 1:18-25

Before Jesus is born, there is a revelation from God.

God tells us who Jesus is. He is Emmanuel: God with us (Matthew 1:23).

God tells us why Jesus has come to earth. He has come to be our Saviour (Matthew 1:21).

In this divine revelation concerning Jesus, our Saviour / Emmanuel, God with us, we have the message of the Gospel. Jesus is more than a man. He is God with us. Jesus is more than a prophet. He is the Saviour.

When we consider the remarkable beginning to Jesus' life on earth, it should not surprise us that His whole life is so very special.

May God's Blessing Surround You Each Day ...

God's Word is "a lamp to our feet and a light to our path." He has "wondrous things" to teach us as we pray "Open my eyes that I may see" (Psalm 119:105, 18, 11). "May God's blessing surround you each day, as you trust Him and walk in His way. May His presence within guard and keep you from sin, go in peace, go in joy, go in love." "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, because of Your mercy and Your truth" (Psalm 115:1).
