What
harm can be done by “reckless words” (Proverbs 12:18)! Lord, teach us
to take care how we speak. Help us to remember that we are Your
witnesses. We have a testimony to maintain. Teach us that there is a
better way than the way of “lying lips” (Proverbs 12:22). Help us, Lord,
to bring “glory” to You, as we keep on confessing our faith: “Jesus
Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:11).
