Our complete joy, pleasure and satisfaction is found in the Lord. We
say, with the Psalmist, “Complete joy is in Your presence. Pleasures are
by Your side forever ... I will be satisfied with seeing You” (Psalm
16:11; Psalm 17:15). We join, with the hymnwriter, in singing praise to
our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: “O Christ, in Thee my soul hath
found, And found in Thee alone, The peace, the joy I sought so long, the
bliss till now unknown. Now none but Christ can satisfy, None other
Name for me. There’s love and life, and lasting joy, Lord Jesus, found
in Thee.”
God's Word is "a lamp to our feet and a light to our path." He has "wondrous things" to teach us as we pray "Open my eyes that I may see" (Psalm 119:105, 18, 11). "May God's blessing surround you each day, as you trust Him and walk in His way. May His presence within guard and keep you from sin, go in peace, go in joy, go in love." "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, because of Your mercy and Your truth" (Psalm 115:1).
