Isaiah 16:1-17:3
‘In
love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a Man will sit on it
– One from the house of David…’ (Isaiah 16:5). Lord, we read these
words, and we look beyond David – to Jesus, ‘the Son of God’ (Romans
1:4). David was the king of Israel. Jesus is the King of kings. In
Jesus, Your Perfect Son, we see Your love and Your faithfulness. Thank
You, Lord.
