When Bad Things Are Happening To Us ...

"Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice" (1 Chronicles 16:10).

Real joy doesn't come from ourselves. It comes from the Lord. It comes to us when we seek Him. The joy of the Lord doesn't depend on good things happening to us. There may be very bad things happening to us, but, still - despite these things, the Lord draws near to us and fills our hearts with His joy.
