"Their strength is to sit still" (Isaiah 30:7).
When I read these words, my thoughts turned to two other verses of Scripture: "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10); "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord" (Exodus 14:13). How wonderful it is to know that God is God - and how wonderful it is to know that he saves us. To him be all the glory!
