Christ has come. Christ will come. We have been saved. We will be saved.

"so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation" (Hebrews 9:28).

Here, on earth, we have the beginning of our salvation - purchased for us by the Saviour, who died for our sins. The completion of our salvation is yet to come - when the Lord Jesus Christ returns, we will enjoy the full glory of God's salvation.
