“God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14).
No boasting of ourselves – only glorying in the Lord: that’s what we learn at the cross of Christ. How can we even think of boasting of ourselves when we consider what we needed to be done by Christ to purchase, for us, our eternal salvation! As we come to the cross of Christ, we are changed. How can we remain the same when we consider how much our Saviour has done to provide, for us, our eternal salvation!
