"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
What great words these are - words from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. They are words of peace, joy and victory. The peace is His. The joy is His. The victory is His. We cannot speak these words to ourselves. They must be spoken to us by our Saviour. Jesus loves to speak His Word to us. He speaks to our hearts. His Word reaches us - when nothing else does. His Word changes us. It's His love that changes us. Where does the peace, joy and victory come from? All of the great blessings come from this - Jesus loves us. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
