What if ...

Often, we find ourselves thinking,  “What if our life had turned out differently.”
What are we to say about this way of thinking? It’s a distraction. It takes our minds off the real world.
The only world we have is the world of right now. We can’t turn the clock back. We can’t rewrite our life story. God is calling us on from where we are now. Whatever our past may have been, God is calling us on into his future. We’re not able to change our past, but the Lord is able to change our future. We do not know what the future holds, but we do know who holds the future. “What if” thinking can shape our future. We can be at worried about what might happen. When we’re thinking like this, we’ll be filled with anxiety. When we feel like this. The Word of the Lord has something wonderful to say to us: “The Lord. is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”(Philippians 4:5–7).

May God's Blessing Surround You Each Day ...

God's Word is "a lamp to our feet and a light to our path." He has "wondrous things" to teach us as we pray "Open my eyes that I may see" (Psalm 119:105, 18, 11). "May God's blessing surround you each day, as you trust Him and walk in His way. May His presence within guard and keep you from sin, go in peace, go in joy, go in love." "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, because of Your mercy and Your truth" (Psalm 115:1).

Wonderful Grace of Jesus

What happens to us, Lord, when we turn away from You?

2 Kings 17:1-41 What happens to us, Lord, when we turn away from You? Everything starts falling apart. It may seem like we’re getting on well – but there’s an “emptiness” (2 Kings 17:14) at the heart of everything that we do. Having Jesus as our Saviour – this is all that really matters. there’s nothing more important than this. Help us to keep on coming to Jesus, to keep on enjoying “the fullness of life” that He gives to us (John 10:10),
