We thank You, Lord, that, when Jesus died on the Cross, He did all that needed to be done for our salvation.
We thank You, Lord, that, when Jesus died on the Cross, He did all that needed to be done for our salvation. From the Cross, He mad this great declaration: “It is finished” (John 19:30). These were not words of despair. They are words of triumph. Beyond the Cross, there was something else that needed to be done. It was something that only You could have done. You raised Jesus from the dead. No-one else could have done this. Resurrection is Your work. To You alone be all the glory – forever and ever!
