Genesis 3 ended with Adam and Eve being driven
out of the Garden of Eden. This was the result of their sin. Genesis 4
has a much more positive ending: "At that time people began to call on
the Name of the Lord." This is the sign that God is doing a new work.
Following on from the beginning of sin, God is beginning His work of
salvation. He's reaching out to people - and, now, they are calling upon
Him.
