Genesis 2 ended with "no shame." Genesis 3 ends with something very different - driven out. What has changed? - Satan has come in, and he has brought sin with him. If the human story ended here, it would be a tragic story. It may have seemed that Satan had the upper hand, but we must not forget God. He has not abandoned His purpose of love. While the human story may often seem like an unrelenting story of Satan and sin, we must not forget that there's also another story. It's the story of the Saviour and His salvation.
