Life can be confusing ...

This world can be a confusing place. There's so much going on. Sometimes, our head spins, trying to make sense of it all. We wonder what to make of it all. What does it all mean? We wonder, "Is there a sure guide who is able to guide us safely along the long and winding road of our life?" Some say, "Jesus." Others say, "Anyone but Jesus." They've been put off Jesus by unbelieving people. They've been told that Jesus has nothing to say to today's world. Have you given up on Jesus? Maybe, you have. I wonder how much you really know about Him. How much have you read about Him in the four Gospels? If you think it might be worth giving Jesus a chance, here's something, for you, to think about. Jesus called Himself "the Good Shepherd" (John 10:11,14). He said this about Himself - the Good Shepherd "calls His own sheep by name and leads them out ... The sheep follow Him because they recognize His voice" (John 10:3-4). You ask, "How am I to hear His voice?" How am I to find out if He has something to say to me - something that will make sense of life?" You can find His words in the Bible - in the New Testament, in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. His words were spoken a long time ago. If you read them, you might get a surprise. You might be surprised at how relevant they are. You might just find that they're words for today, words for you!
